Ian Peel
IAN PEEL - ASSISTANT COACH / ACADEMY COACH
Ian joined the club's coaching staff in 2006, having been forced to retire as a player due to a serious neck injury picked up in training.
The Yorkshireman made 135 competitive appearances for the Falcons as a player after joining the club in the summer of 1998 from his local club Wharfedale, and twice tasted Twickenham Cup success in 2001 and 2004.
Now in charge of the club's young forwards, Peel's considerable knowhow in the dark arts of scrummaging make him a valuable resource for the first team as well.
