Biography

Ben missed the entire 2004/5 season with a badly broken leg picked up during a Development Team match against Northampton late in the 2003/4 campaign.

After 18 months out of the game he finally made his comeback against NEC Green Rockets in Tokyo, scoring with his first touch of the ball.

Woods went on to make his mark for the first team throughout the 2005/6 campaign, earning a place on the England Saxons Churchill Cup tour, where he was man of the match against Canada, scoring a try.

The openside flanker has also won a Blue for Cambridge University, and represented England Saxons for the second season in succession by helping them to the 2007 Churchill Cup.
