Morpeth-born Golding joined the Falcons in the summer of 2006, having spent the previous two seasons in National Division One with Rotherham.
The loose head has Premiership experience, however, from his time at Northampton Saints, whom he joined from the Leicester Tigers academy.
An Under-19s cap for England, Golding was unfortunate to be denied England Under-21s honours when he was concussed during the final trial at that age group. However he did finally earn international recognition when he helped England Saxons to victory at Italy 'A' in 2008.
