Park & Ride
A park and ride service is provided on Newcastle Falcon match days. Free parking is available at Newcastle Racecourse, with shuttle buses running every 10 minutes (there are buses circulating the route) to and from the stadium. The buses run in a continuous loop, therefore no matter what time people arrive at the racecourse (providing it’s within 2 hours of the kick off and final whistle) they can travel to the ground easily. This service runs for 2 hours prior to kick off and 2 hours after the final whistle has blown. Return bus travel is priced at just £2 for adults and is free for all children under the age of 16. Newcastle Racecourse can hold up to 12,000 vehicles in the on-site car park, Newcastle Rugby Limited and Newcastle Racecourse work together to ensure that there is never an event clash between the two sites, therefore all 12,000 spaces are always all available for rugby match parking. Newcastle Racecourse is situated 4.4 miles away from Kingston Park stadium at High Gosforth Park (NE3 5HP), the journey would take approximately 9 minutes by car. The Racecourse is easily accessed from the A1, A19, and all main approach roads to the city. Just follow the brown and white tourist signs featuring the horse and ride. Newcastle Rugby Limited would like to emphasise that spaces are limited at the on-site car park and at the Kingston Park Primary School car park so unless spectators have booked a specific space they are encouraged to travel to the park and ride situated at Newcastle Racecourse or use public transport to guarantee success and reduce congestion around the ground.
By Train
The closest railway station is Newcastle Central Station, which is located in the south of Newcastle City Centre and is the regional hub for both long and short distance rail services. Central Station Metro is located within the railway station and provides a direct connection to Kingston Park via the ‘Airport’ line. The journey time from Central Station to Kingston Park Metro Station is 22 minutes followed by a 7 minute walk to the stadium (directions found in the walking section).
