Charity of the year

Newcastle Falcons’s charity of the year 2008/9 and 2009/10 is Mencap. They receive a dontation for every pink and black charity shirt we sell, plus our support to raise awareness of the charity on match days and other events. They also receive three bucket collections at games throughout the year. Newcastle Falcons’s players also make appearances at Mencap events, including the popular Carol Service lead by our Mencap ambassador, Mark Sorenson. Our community coaches have also worked at Dilston College as part of the partnership to deliver tag and touch rugby sessions.

Charity requests

We have more than 1000 charities on our database who all want support which unfortunately we cannot provide. We have a charity policy which allows any registered charity or local community group to attend one of two signing days each season.
