| The Hiding Place darts team are already champions of the Newburn & Gosforth Men’s Darts League this season, after beating seventeen other teams and winning the entire league by a convincing 38 points! |
The Hiding Place are also currently top of the infamous Darts Super-League. However, it’s very tight at the top (there are only 2 points in it) and it all rests on the final game. The deciding matches are being played between The Hiding Place Vs Netherton and Gateshead Vs Blucher.
David Vazey captain of The Hiding Place darts team states “Winning the Newburn & Gosforth League is already an amazing achievement, especially as its The Hiding Place’s first ever entry into the league, but to win the double would just be fantastic! My self and all the lads find it a privilege to play for The Hiding Place and winning the double would mean so much to us and would enable us to so show some appreciation for all the support The Hiding Place and Newcastle Falcons have given us.”
The Hiding Place will be playing their final game on Thursday 31st May at 8.30pm live at The Hiding Place lounge and sports bar, situated in the East Stand at Kingston Park Stadium. So come and show your support to the boys as they go for the double…! |
