A collection will be held at Friday’s Newcastle Falcons v Saracens game for the family of Darran Fox, the Percy Park player who tragically collapsed and died after a club game earlier this season.

Darran was only 36 when he passed away after a third team game against Berwick RFC, leaving behind wife Marie and their three children, Sarah, Matthew and Alex.

Members of the North-Shields-based Percy Park RFC will be in club colours collecting in and around the ground at Friday’s Guinness Premiership game, with all funds raised going in to a trust fund for the three children.
