| Hot on the heels of Jonny Wilkinson’s successful return for England and the Falcons’ run of five consecutive home wins, tickets for the Guinness Premiership visit of London Wasps on Friday February 23 have been flying out of the door.
Commercial director, Mick Hogan, said: “The phones haven’t stopped all day, and interest in the club has gathered a lot of pace with shirt sales and merchandise really on the up.
“This morning alone we sold well over 200 tickets for the Wasps match.
“Almost three weeks before the game even takes place that is unprecedented for a single morning, and as the match gets closer that demand will only increase, so we are advising supporters to book in advance to avoid missing out.”
