Newcastle Falcons centre Alex Tait scored for England as they continued their crusade in the IRB Under-19s World Cup in Belfast.
Tait’s try helped England to a 17-15 win over Argentina, with their final group game coming on Friday as they square up against tournament favourites New Zealand.

The Under-19s World Cup also sees another Newcastle youngster in action, with scrum half Ross Samson forming part of the Scotland squad for the tournament.

In England Under-18s action there was also a Falcons’ presence on the scoresheet as fly-half Rob Miller scored one of their two tries in a 15-6 victory over Scotland in Glasgow.

In Under-16s action Falcons No.8 Alex Gray skippered England to a 13-10 victory over Stourbridge, with the squad also including fellow Newcastle and Barnard Castle player Tom Catterick.
