| Club captain Phil Dowson and flanker Geoff Parling will model both the home and away strips at Kingston Park, with photos appearing on the club website in the afternoon as well as interviews with the pair looking ahead to the new season.
The new kit comes courtesy of the Falcons’ recently-announced three-year deal with sportswear giants Nike, and supporters will hear details of availability as the new season nears, so you can show your colours for the first game of the Guinness Premiership season.
Initial interest in the new Nike shirts has been such that additional orders have already been made with the manufacturer to cope with demand, as pre-orders flood in at an unprecedented rate.
Club commercial director, Mick Hogan, said: “Even before we have unveiled the new shirt we have seen a huge response from the trade and supporters, even before the fans have had a chance to see it.
“All signs point towards this outselling our 2004/5 home shirt, which was the biggest-selling replica kit in the Premiership at the time, and once supporters get a glimpse of the new kit on the club website we anticipate an even bigger surge in demand.”
