Newcastle’s second game in the competition comes on Saturday November 3 at home to Welsh outfit Newport Gwent Dragons, with a 5.30pm kick-off due to the match being shown live on Welsh language station S4C.

The Falcons face a trip to London Wasps in the final round of matches on the weekend of November 30 and December 1 and 2. The exact date and time of that fixture will be announced after the first two rounds, once the TV networks have decided which games will be shown live.

The Falcons have reached three Twickenham Cup finals in the last eight seasons, winning the competition twice.
