Newcastle Falcons’ head of marketing, Mark Foster, said: “Ice Hockey is a fast and exciting contact sport and does have similarities to rugby.
“We have a long record of working together with other local sports clubs, and are sure that youngsters interested in rugby will also enjoy a night at the ice hockey.”
The offer is to be reciprocated for members of the Newcastle Vipers Fan Club, giving them the opportunity to come and watch the Falcons’ match against London Wasps on Friday February 23.
