Newcastle Falcons lock Andy Perry will be out of action for around two months with a fractured eye socket.
Perry, who turned 32 last week, sustained the injury late in the first half of the 42-15  New Year’s Day defeat at NEC Harlequins.

Fullback and captain Matthew Burke also left the field in the first half of the match with concussion and cuts following a clash of heads.

The Australian will undergo cognitive testing to determine a return date.
