| In the summer the club funded a residents’ parking permit scheme to ease problems in the estates surrounding the stadium, as well as extending the park and ride scheme from Newcastle Racecourse and making Kingston Park School available.
However, a number of vehicles have recently started parking on land adjacent to Brunton Bridge, next to the Brunton Lane / Kingston Park Road mini roundabout. As well as causing damage to the land this also resulted in mud being sprayed on to the road.
In conjunction with the land owners we remind all supporters not to park in this area, whilst at the same time pointing out that enforcement measures may be taken, including wheel clamping. In addition the police are also looking at the situation and may take any appropriate action.
Parking at Kingston Park Stadium is available at £8 while Kingston Park School, only a short walk from the ground, can be used for £5.
The park and ride scheme from the Racecourse runs every 15 minutes for the two hours before and after the game. Parking is free of charge, with return coach travel priced only £2 per adult and free for under-16s.
Buses and Metros also run to Kingston Park on match days. Click here for more information.
