Due to high demand in anticipation of Michael Owen’s appearance, Newcastle Blue Star FC has confirmed that cash turnstiles will be in operation for tonight’s friendly match against Newcastle United at Kingston Park (kick-off 7.45pm).
The match sees Owen, Kieron Dyer, Shola Ameobi and Cacapa, among others, playing for a star-studded United side, and such has been the demand for tickets that Blue Star has opened a number of turnstiles in the South and West Stands of the 10,000-capacity stadium.

These turnstiles are cash only, with adult tickets priced £5, concessions at £3 and under-16s only £1.

The Kingston Park ticket office is also open on the night, with cash sales recommended to ensure speedy service on what is expected to be a busy night.

Before and after the game supporters can enjoy a drink in the Hiding Place sports and lounge bar, situated in the East side of the ground, while the stadium’s Italian ristorante pizzeria, Due Dieci, is staying open until 10.30pm after the final whistle.
