| The Falcons Community Foundation and Premiership Academy coaching camps are proving more popular than ever, with over 250 children aged between 7–17 attending the February half term camps which took place all across the region.
Venues included Penrith, Durham, Alnwick, Darlington, Morpeth and Newcastle. All children were coached by qualified coaches, and received input from international and Premiership rugby players from the Falcons. Stars turning out in February to pass on their skill and experience included, Matt Burke, Dave Walder and Jonny Wilkinson.
Easter will see the Falcons Community Foundation once again spreading their wings and moving around the region with a three-day camp at Penrith Rugby Club on Tuesday 4th April followed by three days of coaching on Tuesday 18th April at Kingston Park.
“The club is also running a five-day residential course at Strensall, York, starting on Sunday 9th April.
Every course is designed by Premiership Coaches. You'll learn all the latest techniques and skills from the very cutting edge of the game. Delivered by the Community Foundation coaches, RFU community rugby coaches and the RFU Regional Academy coaches, you will be receiving the very best tuition.
