Six Newcastle Falcons players have been called in to the England Under-18s squad for Sunday’s training matches against their Welsh counterparts.
In the backs there are call-ups for fullback Alex Tait, fly half Rob Miller, scrum half Michael Young and fullback Michael Johnson, while in the pack the openside pair of Grant Beasley and Aaron Myers are also included.

The games will form part of England's preparations for the forthcoming Home Unions Tournament, which will be staged in Gloucestershire from April 16 to 21, and the AER European Championships, which take place in the Treviso region of Italy in early April.

The games at Ebbw Vale's Eugene Cross Park ground will kick-off at 11.30am and 1.30pm and rolling substitutions wil be permitted to allow the selectors to try out different combinations.

The England squad, which trained at Castlecroft in Wolverhampton and RAF Cosford in Shropshire two weeks ago, has not yet been split into Home Unions and AER squads.
