Newcastle and England's Jamie Noon

Newcastle Falcons centre Jamie Noon believes that his partnership with Mike Tindall in the England midfield can flourish creatively, as they prepare to face Italy in Rome this Saturday in the second round of Six Nations matches.
“We want to create things all the time, but sometimes you’ve got to look at the game as a whole,” said Noon, who started all five of England’s games in the competition last season.

“It’s important to create spaces, create mismatches, exploit weaknesses and we haven’t done as much of that as we’d like until recently.

“This is only the third game myself and Mike have played together, and it’s a building block to a certain degree.

“We’re learning with each game in a new side. We certainly defend well together and sometimes when people see you doing that they tend to categorise you as being like that and not thinking about attacking.”

Saturday’s game will be shown live in the East Stand clubhouse at Kingston Park, with food and drink available.
