Winning Start For World Cup Trio

Newcastle Falcons' Rugby World Cup trio enjoyed a winning start to the tournament in France on Saturday.

Summer signing Carl Hayman helped New Zealand to an emphatic 76-14 victory over Italy in Marseille, with the All Blacks' next match set for Saturday September 15 when they face Portugal.

Fellow Falcon Jamie Noon started in England's 28-10 victory over the USA in Lens, with clubmate Mathew Tait coming on from the bench.

England's next World Cup outing comes on Friday evening, when they tackle South Africa (kick-off 8pm UK time).

To watch Rugby World Cup action on the big screen come to The Hiding Place Sports and Lounge Bar, situated in the East Stand at Kingston Park Stadium.
