Newcastle Falcons Under-19s defeated international opposition at the weekend on the club’s first ever game on a synthetic pitch.
The Dutch national Under-19s were the opponents at Druid Park, as the Falcons ran out 34-5 winners.

Josh Terry was on the scoresheet with a dynamic catch-and-drive try, while winger Adam McKenzie crossed the line twice.

Mark Irving and Iain Moody completed the scoring for the hosts with conversions and a penalty from James Reekie, while the travelling Dutchmen did manage a late consolation try.
