Fullback Alex Tait, making his starting debut for the Falcons, grabbed a hat-trick for Newcastle, while right wing Ollie Phillips continued his own superb scoring streak with a hat-trick of his own.
The conditions could not have been better with the sun beating down on the lush green surface, and the travelling Falcons supporters had their first cheer of the afternoon only four minutes in as Phillips crossed for the opening try – Alex Tait offloading to create the try after sustained phase play.
A James Grindal snipe almost laid on a score for Dutch wing Tim Visser, but the second try was not long in coming as scrum ball on the right wing saw the returning Jamie Noon fizz a peach of a pass across the midfield for Phillips, who weaved his way to the try line in a mirror image of his five-pointer at Gloucester earlier in the season.
Steve Jones's touchline conversion made it 12-0, and on the half hour the forwards got in on the act as lively prop Jon Golding crashed over from a leg-pumping 20-metre run which saw the former Rotherham man power through two tacklers to barrel over the whitewash.
El Salvador finally got off the mark after 34 minutes with fly half Redghart Van Eyk stroking home a long range penalty, and with Noon leaving the field two minutes later with a bang to the head Newcastle were forced in to a back line reshuffle as Tom May entered the fray at fullback and Alex Tait pushed up to inside centre to create an all-Tait midfield.
Younger sibling Alex wasted no time in claiming the bonus point in the final throes of the opening half, as a scrum on the right saw the ball worked to the left flank, where Visser's 50-metre run and pop off the ground allowed Tait to dive over from close range for a 24-3 interval lead.
The Falcons flew out of the blocks for the second half as flanker Brent Wilson was given due reward for his tireless efforts around the park when he sped home from half way, showing a clean pair of heels to all would-be chasers.
In a blistering start to the half the following try came almost instantly as Visser stepped the last man to race home after Andy Long's scoring pass, but the Spaniards finally got the try that their endeavour had deserved when scrum half Shaan Stevens scored after a quick line out inside the Falcons 22 caught the visiting defence unaware.
Van Eyk converted to get Cetransa in to double figures, but arguably the try of the match came within seconds as Mathew Tait raced fully 80 metres for a sensational score, stepping the defence along the way.
The introduction of Lee Dickson for Steve Jones saw scrum half James Grindal switch to the stand-off berth, Dickson's energy and Grindal's creative handling creating gaps out wide for the runners as Alex Tait rounded off the next try with a flowing 80-metre move.
Tom May's drop-kicked conversion took the score past the half century, but there was still time for more as Alex Tait pounced for his hat-trick on 65 minutes, Tait's superb midfield offload freeing Brent Wilson before Tait rejoined the move and collected the scoring pass in the right corner.
Elder brother Mathew slotted a sublime drop goal conversion from the right touch line, and it was another former Barnard Castle old boy who grabbed the tenth try of the evening as Dickson gathered the hack ahead to dot down the loose ball.
The scoring was rounded off by the man who started it all, Ollie Phillips collecting a well-executed offload to cross unopposed in the left corner for the eleventh and final try.
