| Tickets are going fast for Newcastle Falcons' two home games in the run-up to Christmas, as Gloucester and Irish province Connacht visit Kingston Park on successive weekends. |
Only 50 seats remain on sale for the Guinness Premiership visit of league leaders Gloucester on Sunday December 23 (kick-off 3pm) with those expected to be sold on Monday.
A sell-out crowd is anticipated for this fixture, with supporters urged to book their tickets in advance to avoid missing out on what is the Falcons' last home game of 2007.
The weekend before that sees the European Challenge Cup visit of Connacht on Sunday December 16 (kick-off 3pm).
The match marks 'National Geordie Beard Day' to herald the expected home debut of All Black star Carl Hayman, as well as the return to Kingston Park of former Falcons Mike McCarthy and Robbie Morris.
Newcastle are looking to challenge their biggest ever European crowd – 7,104 in the 2005 Heineken Cup victory over Newport – with strong early sales having been reported.
