| Newcastle Falcons will welcome a special group of visitors from Worcester on Sunday, all in the name of charity. |
The ‘Silly Old Fools On Bikes’ have cycled the 295-mile route from Worcester’s Sixways ground to Kingston Park, raising funds for the Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Already over £7,000 has been raised thanks to the efforts of these intrepid expeditioners, but Falcons fans will get the chance to show their backing for the initiative with a bucket collection in the ground ahead of kick-off, conducted with the kind assistance of the Falcons Supporters Club.
The ‘Silly Old Fools’ will be paraded on the field during the match-day festivities, having completed their journey prior to the game.
