| Newcastle Falcons scrum half Lee Dickson has been called up by England for Sunday's Six Nations clash against Italy in Rome. |
The 22-year-old former Barnard Castle pupil starred for England's second string team, the Saxons, last Friday as they defeated Ireland A in Leicester.
Newcastle director of rugby, John Fletcher, said: “I'm delighted for Dicko to receive his first England call-up.
“He is continually working hard to improve his game, he played well for the Saxons last week and this is just another acknowledgement of the quality of young English players coming through at the club right now.” |
