Newcastle hooker Andy Long and wing John Rudd have been added to the England Saxons squad for Saturday's game against Italy A in Sicily.
Their addition takes the total number of Facons in the squad to six, as they join club mates Phil Dowson, Ben Woods, David Wilson and James Grindal.

All four played key roles in last Friday's 31-13 triumph over Ireland A, while Falcons scrum half Lee Dickson's performance was enough to win him promotion to the full England squad for Sunday's Six Nations tussle with Italy in Rome.

Falcons director of rugby, John Fletcher, said: "The fact that a quarter of the Saxons squad comes from Newcastle, as well as having five players in the full England training squad, is yet another demonstration of the depth of talent we have at the club right now.

"We also have a number of players knocking on the door for that international recognition, and it just goes to show the quality of players we have at our disposal."
