| Touch Rugby is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK, and with Newcastle Falcons YOU can get in TOUCH. |
It’s a fast and enjoyable no-contact sport which welcomes both males and females of any age to get involved. Beginners are welcome and since it’s such an easy game to learn and play, TOUCH RUGBY is one of our most successful programmes.
There are all sorts of ways to get involved whether you have one day spare or would like to get involved in an eight-week session. Maybe you would like to join our one-day Beach festival or try out a free taster session provided by our qualified coaches.
All you need is a six people, a pair of trainers and a bit of enthusiasm. Individuals can also come along and will be placed into teams.
Teams who win respective leagues will have the chance to represent Newcastle Falcons at Twickenham in front of a capacity crowd.

Corporate Touch - Thurs May 15
· Teams will be provided with a Newcastle Falcons player as their coach for the evening.
· The competition will take place on the pitches at Kingston Park (including the First Team Pitch)
· Teams will be provided with reversible t-shirts to wear on the evening.
· There will be a BBQ, bars open and music all evening.
Price: £175 per team based on squad of ten
Kingston Park Advanced League and Kingston Park Social League - Starts Weds May 21 for eight weeks
· Two competitions will run simultaneously at Kingston Park.
· For those of you who have a bit more experience in playing touch, there’s an advanced league, and for those who are beginners or prefer a less competitive game, a social league.
· This League will take place on Wednesday evenings and will run for 8 weeks.
· Teams will be provided with reversible t-shirts
· The last night will be a finals/presentation evening
· BBQ, tuck shop and drinks offers.
Price: £195 (£2.50 per person per night based on squad of ten)
Billingham Rugby Club - Starts Thurs May 29 for six weeks
· A brand new venue for our Touch Rugby this year comes in the form of Billingham Rugby Club in Teesside.
· The first week will be an introductory week, where teams can come along and receive coaching from Falcons Community Foundation staff.
· The following 5 weeks will follow a league format for all teams involved.
· Teams will be provided with reversible t-shirts
· BBQ, tuck shop and as always, the bar will be open!
Price: £100 (£1.70 per person per night, based on squad of ten)
Chester-Le-Street Rugby Club - Starts Tues May 27 for six weeks
· A welcome second addition to our Touch programme sees Chester-Le-Street join the club!
· The first week will be an introductory week, where teams can come along and receive coaching from Falcons Community Foundation staff.
· The following 5 weeks will follow a league format for all teams involved.
· Teams will be provided with reversible t-shirts
· BBQ, tuck shop and as always, the bar will be open!
Price: £100 (£1.70 per person per night, based on squad of ten).
Tynemouth Beach Touch Festival - Sun July 27
· One off tournament held at Tynemouth Beach
· Music, fun and sunshine guaranteed!
Price: £50 per team for the day. |
