Overview:
Working within the highly respected Corporate Events Department at Newcastle Falcons Rugby Club, the successful candidate will be responsible for selling a range of hospitality, sponsorship and advertising packages.
You will have a proven track record in sales and be able to work in a team reporting to the Corporate Events Manager.
Responsibilities of the Role
Selling corporate hospitality packages including Premier Club, season packages and single game opportunities via the generation of new business contacts and renewals and up-selling to existing customers.
Selling sponsorship opportunities including match sponsorships, ball and programme sponsorships.
Assist in the planning and selling of a range of events including golf days, dinners, travel packages and other non-match-day events.
Account management for existing club and competition sponsors.
Assist in the management of databases of all existing and new business contacts.
Personal Skills
Sales and customer service experience essential.
Well organised with attention to detail in all aspects of your working day.
Enthusiastic and hard working.
Experience of MS packages including word, excel and outlook.
Able to work alone and as part of a team.
Further Details
This is a full time position which will involve additional weekend work (home games) plus further occasional evening and weekend work as required.
The successful applicant will possess a full clean driving license and be a car owner. A mileage allowance will be allowed.
A mobile phone will be provided for business purposes.
