Right from the off the signs were ominous for a Falcons team playing its third game in six days and without a host of key players, as Worcester turned down two kickable early penalties in search of tries.
From the first attacking line out the Falcons managed a key steal, but there was no such luck with the second attempt as skipper Pat Sanderson powered over the try line under the weight of a well-executed rolling maul.
The line out was again the downfall of the visitors midway through the half as a crafty one-two between hooker Aleki Lutui and front man Greg Rawlinson saw Lutui scamper down the blindside for the second try in the right corner.
Buoyed on by a fantastic away support Newcastle eventually gained some territory through the tactical kicking of fly half Steve Jones, and were on the scoresheet 25 minutes in courtesy of a solo special from wing man Ollie Phillips.
Having scooped up the ball 35 metres from the line, Phillips duly tucked it under his wing before setting off on a mazy run through the home defence, stumbling past the last man before regaining his foting just enough to plant the ball down on the try line.
Jones converted to get the Falcons to within five, but the deficit was soon extended as a knock-on from a Falcons line out near their own line saw prop Chris Horsman scurry down the blindside for a try on the overlap.
A sweetly-struck Jones penalty for the visitors with the last kick of the half saw them trail 20-10 at the break, but for a tired and inexperienced Falcons side it was to be a torrid second half as Worcester ran them ragged right from the start.
Less than two minutes in they were under their own posts as South African fullback Thinus Delport wrapped up the four-try bonus point with a score in the left corner, followed just four minutes later as in-form wing Miles Benjamin finished off an elaborate move as departing fly half Shane Drahm dinked over a cross-field kick.
Benjamin pounced for his second and Worcester's sixth almost straight from the restart with a penetrating run, followed by All Black Rico Gear and Marcel Garvey who both grabbed the final two tries in a dominant second-half showing.
Newcastle did provide resistance in the form of Northampton-bound scrum half Lee Dickson with a string of sniping runs, while centre Tim Visser and try-scorer Phillips kept probing away on the counter-attack.
Fit-again prop Joe McDonnell made a number of carries in the final half hour for a lively bench cameo, but in the end Worcester had too much as the sun shone down on Sixways and the Falcons ended their season in defeat.
