| Newcastle Falcons wing Ollie Phillips has been named in the England Sevens squad for the Twickenham leg of the IRB World Sevens series on the weekend of May 24/25. |
Northampton-bound Lee Dickson is also in the squad for the tournament, to be held at the same ground in which the Falcons claimed the Middlesex Sevens title earlier this season.
Newcastle scrum half Micky Young will train with the England squad ahead of the London tournament, with a view to making his international debut in the Edinburgh leg of the IRB Sevens at Murrayfield the following week.
Blaydon wing Andrew Fenby, who has starred for the Falcons Development XV recently, will be a non-travelling reserve to cover injuries and withdrawals as he waits to make his international Sevens bow. |
