Falcons commercial director, Mick Hogan, has been announced as the new chief executive of Wigan Warriors Rugby League Club.
Hogan will leave the Falcons in the next three months to take over at the JJB Stadium, stating: “There are very few clubs I would move to, but Wigan is near where I'm from and rugby league is my sport, so this was an opportunity too good to turn down.

“I would like to thank all the fans, sponsors, directors and staff of Newcastle Falcons, as well as the club chairman Dave Thompson for the support I have received during my time at Kingston Park.

“I will always keep an eye on the Falcons' scores, they are my team and I wish them well for the future.”
