The Newcastle Falcons academy enjoyed two convincing wins on Wednesday, as both the Under-18s and 16s won on Dutch soil.
The Falcons Under-16s defeated the Dutch national Under-17s side 40-5 at Castricum RFC, while the Newcastle Under-18s side ran out 60-0 victors over Castricum Under-19s.

The games were both part of Castricum's anniversary celebrations, as Newcastle Falcons continues its strong links with Holland.

Representing the Falcons' Under-18s was Dutch centre Sep Visser, younger brother of Newcastle first team wing Tim Visser.

The Falcons senior side even enjoyed considerable Dutch support in Lille for Sunday's 37-10 victory over Racing Metro, with a bus-full of RC Hilversum members making the drive over to the French city.
