Jamie Noon joined team mates Eni Gesinde and Davey Wilson to announce the Falcons' new Community Foundation Partner for the 08/09 season, DFDS Seaways.
The Falcons players enjoyed an impromptu game of touch rugby alongside the DFDS Seaways cruise ferry Princess of Norway, before boarding the vessel for brunch.
The leading cruise ferry operator’s partnership with the Community Foundation has provided the funding for Newcastle Falcons Community Foundation to enable community activity for young people across the region
Melanie Magee at Newcastle Falcons commented: “The Community Foundation is an important part of the club’s annual work.
"We believe that involvement in our community is vital to the future of the club, and the players themselves are keen to give back to the community too. DFDS Seaways' partnership will enable us to significantly expand our programme, with a new cheerleading and dance project.”
