Falcons new boys Filipo Levi and Josh Afu both suffered defeat in Saturday's IRB Pacific Nations Cup matches.
Levi's Samoa fell 19-14 to hosts Fiji in a bruising encounter in Lautoka, while Afu's Tonga lost narrowly to Japan, the second row finding himself in the sin bin as they fell 21-19, also in Lautoka.

The results mean that the Junior All Blacks retain their Pacific Nations Cup, despite still having one game left to play against Tonga.
