| Newcastle Falcons pair Micky Young and Rob Vickers both featured for England Saxons on Sunday, as they defeated Italy A in Treviso. |
Scrum half Young started the game before being replaced at half time, while hooker Vickers made his Saxons debut with a late second-half cameo in the 31-5 victory.
England's second string registered four tries on the day, with scores for Alex Goode, David Strettle and Miles Benjamin being added to by a penalty try.
Head coach Stuart Lancaster said: "It was a tough first half.
"Italy did very well, they scored a good try and we needed to break them down. We changed in the second half to a more high tempo game.
"We've worked hard with this group of players, and I'm pleased with they way they came back in the second half.
"It shows the quality we have and strength in depth of players that didn't have an opportunity last week, but came through this week. And the result is through their hard work."
