During the summer months the Falcons Community Team organise the Newcastle Falcons Summer Of Touch Rugby.  The non contact version of rugby is ideal for everyone, from those that have never played rugby before and fancy giving it a try to those that play ever week and want to keep fit over the summer. Male or female, young or old, it doesn’t matter as the Falcons Summer of Touch Rugby provides opportunities for everyone.
Newcastle Falcons Summer of Touch Rugby

Falcons Corporate Touch Rugby Festival

Held in early May this is your opportunity to play with and against the Falcons stars on the main pitch at Kingston Park.  Each team that enters the festival is given a member of the Falcons first team squad as player/coach for the evening.  Games are six-a-side with all abilities able to take part as the evening is all about having fun.  The bars at Kingston Park are open all night and the event finishes with a barbeque for all teams.

Falcons Touch Rugby Summer League

This takes place on a Monday evening for six weeks in staring in mid May and goes through to the end of June.  There are three different leagues a Serious League open to any teams, this is a great way for rugby clubs to keep their players fit over the off-season and keep the ball skills going ready for pre-season.

A Mixed Social League where the team of six players must contain at least two female players and no more than two players who have played rugby regularly over the past year, and a Social League where there are no rules about female players but the team of six can contain no more than two players who have played rugby regularly over the past year.  There are an unlimited number of players that can make up your squad and you do not need to have the same players playing each week.

Winning teams from each of the leagues are presented with their trophies and medals at Kingston Park during half time of the first Falcons home game of the season.

Falcons Touch Rugby Beach Festival

Held on a Sunday in early July on Tynemouth Beach.  Two Festivals are held on the same day one Serious Festival, used by many rugby clubs (both league and union) as a start to their pre-season training, and with prize money up for grabs for the winning team competition is fierce.  There is also a Social Festival, all about having fun, open to mixed teams, with drinks vouchers for the winning team.
